Pat is CEO of InverMed, formally Irish Micro Mouldings, since 2005. He is a recognised veteran of Injection Moulding and has provided expert consultation to the polymer industry; particularly to the medical device sector. Pat graduted with an Honors Degree in Plastics Engineering from Technological University of the Shannon formally Athlone Institute of Technology and was the recipient of awards for outstanding results. Pat continues to work closely with educational institutions to ensure graduates have the necessary skills and core competencies to succeed in a challenging sector and serving on bodies such as the Institute of Materials Plastics Division to help organise the flagship annual industry event which acts as an educational and networking hub for leaders in the Irish industry.

Pat is hands on with the day to day running of InverMed and has an input in every department. Pat Whyte has received many awards for his work in the plastics industry including the “AIT Polymer Department Alumni Award for Services to the Plastics Industry” and an award for Services to the Plastics Industry.

Mike has worked for InverMed for close on 20 years and in his time has lead the company through the development from ISO 9001 to ISO 13485 and focus mainly on the supply of product into the medical devices sector. With the aid of his Quality dept., Mike is involved at all stages of the projects from initial discussions on new projects at R&D, up to production.

Jonathan manages and motivates the Production Department team of Product Builders and Technicians to carry out their tasks to the best of their abilities whilst maintaining the high quality standards required by the Quality Management System. He liaises with the Quality & Engineering/Tool Room Departments on a daily basis for planning and scheduling of production and R&D products and is heavily involved in bringing products through validation and into production.

Peter supports the Quality Management System at InverMed and is involved in new product introductions (NPI), product and process validation, dimensional analysis and process improvement. Peter also works with the metrology equipment to optimise the effective accuracy of the measuring systems, providing confidence in the continuing accuracy of the prototypes and finished products.

Evelyn joined the company in 2014. Her role includes providing direction on corporate initiatives, managing special projects and change implementation.

Evelyn supports the CEO in overall strategic planning and corporate development.

She is also responsible for marketing and personnel on-site.

Colm manages and runs the Design Centre and Toolroom, designing and building the tooling for both prototype (R&D) and production. Using the latest CAD/CAM systems and with almost 30 years’ experience in toolmaking and design he works closely with the customer, to develop the most efficient tooling to serve the customers requirements. Working with production and quality to maintain the high standards required from the products tooling. The design department is one of the first stops for all new projects coming into the facility.

Jacinta joined the company in 2016 and is the Finance Manager. She is responsible for leading the finance and key supporting functions, including Treasury, Controller, Tax, Corporate Strategy and Business Development.
