This Privacy Statement describes InverMed Teoranta’s policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data and sets forth your privacy rights. Welcome to www.invermed.com (the “Site”). This Site is operated by InverMed Teoranta (collectively “InverMed” or “we” or “us”) and has been created to provide our customers the information, products and other initiatives developed and/or offered by InverMed Teoranta and its subsidiaries and affiliates.

What information is being collected?

The site uses a Contact Page to gather basic details regarding new opportunities.  These details include First Name, Surname, Telephone Number, E-Mail Address, Enquiry Type, Message and confirmation if the user would like updates from InverMed Teoranta.

If you contact us by e-mail, we may use the Personal Data contained in your e-mail you provide to respond to you; or if you contact us about a job listing, the information you provide to us may be used to consider you for the position. We may also combine Personal Data that you have provided to us with information obtained by us from other parties.

 

InverMed may use functionality provided by google, linkedin, twitter and facebook to help track the effectiveness of our website and advertisements. Cookies are small text files that a website can use in order to recognise visitors who revisit a site so as to facilitate their ongoing access to and use of the site. It enables usage behaviour to be tracked and aggregate data to be compiled that would facilitate more targeted advertising and improved content. Who is collecting it?

Completed Contact Forms are automatically e-mailled to InverMed.  The information submitted in these forms is not shared with third parties.

If for any reason you do not wish to share this information, you are free to leave the site without downloading any cookies or completing the contact page.  In such cases, you may contact InverMed in person, by telephone or e-mail using the contact details at the end of this Privacy Statement.

Why is it being collected?

InverMed gives potentially new customers and existing customers the opportunity to request further contact in relation to products and solutions InverMed may offer.

InverMed specialises in technically complex injection moulding and ancillary manufacturing processes.  Our target market is minimal invasive devices, cardiovascular, bio-absorbable and generally difficult things in this area. InverMed are dedicated to remaining at the forefront of technological advancement in these industries.   The information collected by InverMed helps us to better understand the needs of future customers and provide these customers with excellent goods and services.

 How will it be used?

Information gathered in the Contact Pages will be reviewed by InverMed and will respond appropriately to the customer request.  The information gathered will not be used for any automated decision making or profiling.

Information gathered by cookies may be used to gather information on how users interact with the site.

Individuals using the site are given the option to subscribe to updates from InverMed.  This choice is optional and individuals may opt out at any time.

How is my information protected??

InverMed use very robust third party software to manage storage and transmittance of its stored data.  The hardware and software which is 100% owned, operated and managed by the same third party.  Files are secured both in transit and in storage using 256-bit AES encryption.  The systems are monitored continuously and are audited by independent testing, analysis and assessment services.  Data is held on servers within the EU region, but not outside of this region.  Further details are available on request.

In the extremely unlikely event of a data breach, InverMed will notify the persons and the companies involved, at the very earliest opportunity.

What will be the effect of this on the individuals concerned?

The information gathered by InverMed will be used to understand potential customer needs and then develop new products and solutions.

Data gathered from individuals through the InverMed site may be provided on request.
Information gathered through the site will typically be held for 5 years.  If an individual requests removal of any information they submitted to the site, this request may be carried out.  For any individuals wishing to request or remove information gathered by Google, Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, click on the links for each company’s privacy policy.

Is the intended use likely to cause individuals to object or complain? 

As there is no risk to the rights of individuals, InverMed do not expect any objections or complaints about our data collection methods. If an individual does have a cause for complaint, they should contact the Data Protection Commissioner, which is the national data protection authority in Ireland.

Note About Children

We recognize the need to provide additional privacy protections for children who use the Internet.  This Site is not directed at children and the services offered on this Site are designed for individuals who are 13 years of age or younger. However, as InverMed do not gather data identifying individuals, there is no impact to children using the site.

Legal Requirements:

InverMed will ensure that the information is stored and transferred in accordance with this Privacy Statement and as permitted by the Data Protection Acts of Ireland.

InverMed is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) as InverMed are not involved in processing operations which require regular and systematic monitoring of data subjects on a large scale or of special categories of data or data relating to criminal convictions and offences.

 InverMed may disclose your Personal Data, User Data and other information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with a legal obligation, (b) protect and defend the rights or property of InverMed or its affiliates, (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public, or (d) protect against legal liability.

We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Statement as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies.

Policy Update:

In November 2021, Irish Micro Mouldings rebranded as InverMed Teoranta.  The change in name was accompanied by a refreshed website and promotional video, to better reflect what the company does and identify with the people in the area who have helped build and grow our business.  There is no change to the legal entity and the Company Registration Office number (109884), VAT number (4700539M) and the company’s bank details are all unchanged.

Similarly, there has been no change to GDPR practices or the handling of information by the company or by third parties.  A copy of the previous privacy statement is available on request.
